FIRST STOP – LUNCH AT PATTI’S 1880’S SETTLEMENT

If I had a nickel for every time someone asked me, “Have you been to Patti’s?”

I wouldn’t be writing this, I’d be basking on a houseboat off Green Turtle Bay! Patti’s 1880’s Settlement is a Must Stop for visitors to the Fancy Farm Picnic – having a two inch pork chop and one of their home made desserts tops off many a trip to West Kentucky that starts with lots of barbecue.

So naturally, our first stop last Saturday was lunch at Patti’s. That is not us in the picture! It looks like students celebrating prom night with a carriage ride to dinner

Reservations are absolutely recommended. Call 1-888-736-2515 or visit their website          www.pattis-settlement.com
Patti’s hosts over 250,000 (that’s one quarter million) diners each year. The atmosphere is definitely old fashioned- drinks in canning jars and waitresses in period garb (long dresses and aprons).
